	Pacific Trash Vortex 2008-2010	Poppified noise/drone rockers with shoegaze leanings. Started by the infamous Mounsey who originally intended to round out his solo Dwarf Star project with a full band, PTV evolved into an entirely differant, if equally haggard, beast. Graham Hancock was tapped as a second guitar, Savino M for bass, Granny on drums, capped off with Andre Theriault singing. Gigwhores until the end, playing shows at finger-blistering frequency in Toronto and around Southern Ontario, they somehow managed to squeeze out 2 records in the year-and-change they were together: Lonely Boy Motel, the raw demo EP, recorded on a cassette 4 track in Mounsey's living room and released as a limited edition cassette, as well as the more polished studio-recorded self-titled CDR. During the studio session which begat the self-titled CD, there was an electric version of Yer the Only One (formerly known as Rape, but focus groups showed that nobody liked that title) was recorded (vs the acoustic drunkapella version that was on the CD). This version never made it to the CD because it wasn't finished in the studio (mostly vocals; Andre's throat was shot after a whole day of belting out songs and time was running out). Granny had the foresight to bring a hard drive to the session and get backups of all the DAW files. This allowed him to finish the song at his studio, along with 2 alternate mixes, one acapella and one droney dance remix. These were never released (the band had already broken up) but were just uploaded to the interwebs and passed around by word of type.
